Filger Manufacturing in California's San Clemente area is seeking a Senior Swiss Turning Setup Expert to lead complex setups and production on STAR Swiss screw machines with Fanuc controls. Qualifications
- 5+ years in CNC setup and operation.
- Direct Swiss-type experience (STAR, Citizen, Tsugami).
- Fluency with Fanuc controls.
- Aerospace/regulated precision environment experience.
- Able to train operators and oversee quality on the floor.
Responsibilities
- Independently set up and run STAR Swiss machines from setup to full production.
- Read blueprints and travelers; adjust offsets and program edits as needed.
- Machine first articles to +/- .0002 and validate with CMM and gauges.
- Mentor operators and uphold shop standards.
- Meet output targets while maintaining quality and organization.
