Job summary

North Easton Machine Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Swiss CNC programmer-setter to own the full production cycle on Citizen and Star multi‑axis lathes. You will develop robust programs, optimize setups, and ensure repeatable results with GD&T‑driven inspection.

Qualifications

• 5+ years running Citizen and Star Swiss-type CNC lathes.
• CAD/CAM programming experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to read prints and GD&T; understand tight tolerances.
• Proficient with measurement tools and inspection practices.

Responsibilities

• Study drawings, 3D models, work orders, materials, and specifications to plan machining methods and operation sequences.
• Program, prove out, edit, and optimize CNC code in CAD/CAM for Swiss‑type platforms.
• Set up and run equipment: choose tooling/workholding, set offsets, make edits and adjustments.
• Validate first‑piece results with meticulous measurement and inspection to drawings and GD&T.
• Document setup sheets, tooling data, and production records under revision control; mentor teammates.
