Job summary

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Swiss CNC Programmer for our client in New Kensington, PA. You will develop, simulate, and implement complex multi-axis G-code programs for Swiss-style lathes, perform comprehensive machine setups, and drive cycle-time reductions while maintaining tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in CNC Swiss machining, with at least 5 years programming and setup, mastery of G-code/M-code and GD&T, and advanced CAM/CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in CNC Swiss machining with at least 5 years programming and setup.
• Mastery of G-code/M-code and fluency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Advanced CAM programming and CAD software proficiency.
• Experience in regulated environments such as Aerospace or Medical.

Responsibilities

• Develop, simulate, and implement complex multi-axis G-code programs for Swiss-style lathes using CAM software.
• Perform comprehensive machine setups.
• Identify and implement cycle time reductions and tool-life improvements.
• Maintain tolerances as tight as ±.0005”. Perform FAI and in-process metrology using CMMs, vision systems, and manual tools.
• Diagnose repair and perform mechanical troubleshooting.
