Job summary

Torus in Salt Lake City leads energy infrastructure development and manufacturing. The Maintenance Machine Tech A role focuses on hands-on repair, precision alignment, PM, and capital improvements for CNCs, lasers, waterjets, and automated systems.

You will mentor junior technicians, manage PMs, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC failures to minimize downtime while supporting scale of GigaOne facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong expertise in industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and pumps.
• Advanced troubleshooting on CNCs, lasers, waterjets, and presses.
• Familiar with electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic.
• Experience with CMMS and LMS systems; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead inspection, servicing, setup, and repair with minimal supervision.
• Own PM scheduling, review reports, and develop PM instructions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, PLC, and software systems.
• Direct on-site response to machine-down outages to minimize downtime.
• Act as High-Level Production Support during peak hours to boost throughput.
• Lead capital improvement projects from concept to sign-off.
