Job summary

Gold's Aquatics Club is seeking a Swim Coach to develop and implement a comprehensive training program for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. You will provide guidance, instruction, and support while fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities include planning meets, on-deck coaching during practice, and collaborating with fellow coaches. Current lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain are required.

Qualifications

• Proven coaching experience with swimmers at various levels.
• Strong understanding of swimming techniques and training principles.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate athletes.
• Excellent communication with swimmers, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a progressive swim program aligned with club goals.
• Design training plans to improve technique, endurance and performance.
• Conduct regular practice sessions and provide on-deck coaching.
• Evaluate progress and provide individualized feedback.
• Plan and coordinate participation in swim meets and team travel.
• Collaborate with assistant coaches to ensure consistent coaching methods.
• Communicate schedules, meet results and important information to families.
• Support swimmer transitions between training levels.
• Stay up to date with coaching techniques and competitive trends.
• Adhere to club policies and safety guidelines.
