Job summary

LPA, Inc. seeks a Structural Project Engineer in Austin to shape projects through the full design process within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. You’ll contribute to sustainable, high-performance design while growing via training, site tours, and internal programs.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license, 5+ years in building design, and proficiency with RAM, RISA, ETABS, and Revit; strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in all phases of building design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in RAM, RISA, and ETABS; Revit experience preferred.
• Strong technical, code, and detailing skills with quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project design process in collaboration with Architects, Designers, and Managers.
• Prepare documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Conduct quality control research on products and construction methods.
• Lead the construction administration process.
