Salas O’Brien, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sustainability Project Manager in Atlanta with proven leadership in third‑party certification programs.

You will mentor a team of Specialists, manage multiple projects, and contribute to business development while engaging clients and stakeholders. The role requires deep knowledge of LEED, WELL, SITES, and related frameworks, plus the ability to guide projects through certification cycles and collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of direct project management experience in sustainability consulting.
• Strong working knowledge of LEED, WELL, SITES and related rating systems.
• Experience guiding project teams through full certification cycles.
• Ability to mentor a small team and support career development.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects pursuing third‑party sustainability certifications from development through certification and recertification where applicable.
• Lead and mentor a small group of Specialists, review project health, and support career development.
• Collaborate with Senior Managers across Certifications, Consulting, Development, and ESG practices to balance workloads.
• Support business development activities, including conferences, speaking engagements, and client outreach.
• Educate project teams and owners through written and verbal communications and contribute to technical growth.
