Job summary

Avsar Construction Development, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer III - Sustainability to provide technical and project coordination support across planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout of sustainability initiatives.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years of experience managing large commercial/construction projects (>$15M) and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in BIM, Bluebeam Revu, and PMIS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a role involving project or construction management of large commercial/public/educational facilities (>$15M).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, Construction Management or related field.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, BIM, PMIS; familiarity with DSA processes; knowledge of MEP and building automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, engineering, and project coordination support to Project Managers and sustainability teams throughout design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate with project teams, architects, engineers, contractors, and subject matter experts to address requirements and constraints.
• Review design documents, submittals, RFIs, change orders, field orders, and other project documentation.
• Support resolution of technical issues and timely RFIs responses with design professionals.
• Maintain and distribute contract plans, specs, and project records.
• Assist with field verification and construction coordination to ensure compliance with scopes and standards.
• Monitor project progress, document field observations, and coordinate follow-up actions with stakeholders.
• Track schedules, change orders, submittals, and implementation activities.
• Verify contractors maintain record drawings and project documentation during construction.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, track actions, and communicate project status.
