Job summary

RANDYS Worldwide in Riverside is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to take suspension products from concept to production. You will design, prototype, install, test, and refine suspension systems directly on development vehicles, collaborating with fabricators and test specialists.

You will lead geometry studies, perform structural analyses, and ensure manufacturability through DFM/DFA while working in a fast-paced aftermarket environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of automotive suspension/vehicle development.
• Fluency with SOLIDWORKS and GD&T.
• Experience with fabrication processes and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design suspension and steering components: control arms, springs, coilovers, mounting systems, brackets, and lift/leveling kits.
• Evaluate OE suspension architecture, geometry, packaging, and operating limits to define system requirements.
• Run geometry studies: camber, toe, bump steer, roll center, motion ratio, wheel travel.
• Perform load, stress, spring rate, and fatigue calculations; use FEA where appropriate.
• Model and detail in SOLIDWORKS; produce release-ready drawings with GD&T and material callouts.
• Participate in design reviews and support data-backed decisions.
