Mortenson Construction in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to coordinate and supervise project-based survey and layout requirements. Qualifications

• 5+ years of survey experience in construction projects.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or related field.
• PLS license preferred; driver’s license required.
• Proficient with survey software and equipment (total station, GPS, data collectors).

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or bachelor's degree in one of the following: Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience as a surveyor within the construction industry


• Minimum of five years previous survey experience required


• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License preferred


• Driver's license is required


• Computer skills in Bentley Inroads, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center or equivalent survey software


• Ability to operate equipment including but not limited to total station, GPS, data collector, etc.


• Travel required

The base pay range for this role is $78,800 MIN - $98,500 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
