Job summary

ISGroup is looking for a Surveyor & Senior Surveyor to join our Newcastle team on a full-time basis. This role involves undertaking surveys, preparing plans, and assessing client needs. A Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or similar is required.

About The Role

We are seeking a Surveyor & Senior Surveyor on a full-time basis to join our expanding team in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake surveys requested by the Operations Manager and/or Survey Coordinator
• Pre-organise job requirements (plans, field notes, dwg files) and pre-calculations if necessary
• Prepare plans, reduce and compute survey data
• Assess client needs & maintaining developed processes

• Proven experience as a Surveyor, with a strong understanding of surveying techniques and practices
• 12D Field experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering or TAFE equivalent
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Licensed Surveyor) and professional memberships (e.g., SSSI) are preferred
• Valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to various project sites
