Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Survey Technician - Water Main Systems in the Chicago area to support the PMO program. You will prepare TORs, coordinate survey vendors, and verify basemaps for CDWM CIP Water Main and LSLR programs under the Water Main Design Manager's supervision.

Responsibilities include processing utility information requests, correcting basemaps with MicroStation, preparing ArcMap GIS maps and 80-acre sheets, and coordinating with topographic survey consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Experience with utility infrastructure projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare yearly TOR for DPS acceptance.
• Process IR requests from OUC for WM & LSLR programs.
• Review and correct OUC utilities in basemaps using MicroStation according to standards.
• Prepare basic GIS maps for IR process using ArcMap.
• Prepare 80 Acre sheets for WM projects using ArcMap.
• Coordinate with topographic survey consultants and basemap revisions.
• Support management of Topographic Survey Consulting Firms contracted for DWM CIP programs.
• Maintain productivity and meet deadlines.
