Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior surveying technician to lead field data processing, ensure data integrity, and coordinate field packages through project lifecycles in Fort Worth, TX.

You will work with Professional Land Surveyors, mentor junior staff, and support field crews while delivering accurate boundary deliverables and client communications.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years drafting experience, including easements and deed sketching.
• 5+ years of experience using Civil 3D.
• Data processing experience: managing field data, quality checks, deliverables.
• Hands-on field experience with surveying equipment and workflows.
• Support and coordinate with field crews.
• SIT certification preferred or licensure underway.
• Strong boundary surveying experience: research, analysis, deliverables.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Educational background in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years of drafting experience, including easements and deed sketching
• 5+ years of experience using Civil 3D
• Strong experience in data processing, including managing field data, performing quality checks, and preparing deliverables
• Hands-on field experience with surveying equipment and workflows
• Ability to support and coordinate with field crews
• Surveyor in Training (SIT) certification preferred or actively working toward licensure
• Solid experience with boundary surveying, including research, analysis, and preparation of boundary deliverables
