Fleming Engineering, Inc. (FEI) is seeking a Senior Survey Project Manager in High Point, NC to lead complex surveying projects and guide teams. You will own scopes, budgets, schedules, and client relationships, ensuring accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.

This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering high-quality survey data across the region, with opportunities to shape project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of land surveying experience including boundary, ALTA, construction layout, and topographic work.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project scopes, budgets, and schedules for surveying projects.
• Manage multiple survey crews to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to surveying office personnel to ensure project success.
• Build and maintain relationships with engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities and client partnerships.
• Support business planning, marketing efforts, and strategic initiatives.
• Promote a culture of ethics, teamwork, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring optimal financial performance.
• Manage multiple survey crews to maximize productivity and efficiency.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of diverse land surveying expertise, including Boundary, ALTA, Construction Layout, and Topographic projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Licensing: A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlson, Topcon, Leica, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Mindset: Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
• Track Record: Proven experience leading high-performing teams.
• Driver’s License: A valid North Carolina driver’s license.
