Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in New Jersey seeks a Survey Project Manager to oversee survey projects from proposal through completion, driving accuracy, efficiency, and client success while leading field and office teams on land development and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has a Professional Land Surveyor License, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, and Trimble/Leica equipment.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of field survey operations and the engineering/construction industry.
• Strong technical background in conventional survey and remote sensing technologies.
• Strong property line / ROW experience.
• NYC public agency experience a plus.
• Professional Land Surveyor License required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation.
• Experience with Trimble and/or Leica equipment and software.
• Experience in projects utilizing 3D scanning a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in all areas of the job description.
• Must be able to generate revenue through existing client base and new business development.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
• A valid drivers license is required.

Responsibilities

• Client Communication (internal and external).
• Project Proposal Preparation & Invoicing.
• Oversight of field and office teams, comprised of project surveyors, cad technicians, and field crews.
• New Business Development combining existing clients with Colliers Engineering & Design’s diverse Land Survey & Measurement Service lines which include: 3D High Definition Laser Scanning, Mobile Lidar Mapping, Rail Surveying, GPS and Conventional Surveys.
