Dewberry is seeking an energetic Professional Surveyor - Land Development to join our Orlando, FL or Panama City, FL teams. Ideal candidates bring a Florida PLS or the ability to obtain one within six months, 5+ years in land surveying with project management experience, and proficiency in Trimble Business Center and

Qualifications

• Florida PLS or ability to obtain within six months.
• Minimum 5 years of professional land surveying experience including project management.
• AAS or BS in Surveying preferred.
• Proven ability to build client relationships in surveying and mapping.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients.
• Lead Florida survey operations with leadership guidance.
• Collaborate with Southeast offices and other groups.
• Oversee survey aspects of civil engineering projects and prepare survey plans.
• Train field personnel in surveying procedures.
• Prepare weekly crew schedules.
• Coordinate with utility providers and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor budgets, schedules and deliverables; prepare proposals and contracts.
• Manage projects with multiple team members and coordinates with ROW planning.
• Provide CAD oversight and QA for survey data; perform field work and data processing.
