Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a highly experienced Land Surveyor to join our Chattanooga team. You will lead survey projects, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with clients and staff on complex ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys.

Requirements include Georgia PLS or eligibility, GDOT background, 10+ years of project management, SIT license, and strong AutoCAD/Carlson skills; LiDAR tooling like TopoDOT or Pix4D is a plus. Relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in surveying, civil engineering, or related field with applicable experience.
• Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia or eligible to become licensed within a year.
• GDOT experience required and 10+ years of survey project management.
• 8+ years of hands-on land surveying experience; SIT license held.
• Strong AutoCAD and Carlson skills; LiDAR / TopoDOT and Pix4D a plus.
• Experience with GDOT ORD, SUE process, and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Head with proposals, estimates, and recruiting tasks.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients; manage budgets and schedules.
• Lead survey projects, ensure compliance with regulations and Accura procedures.
• Plan pre-survey activities with PMs, engineers, and contractors.
• Deliver surveys including ALTA, boundaries, topography, inventories, and more.
