The ideal candidate has 10+ years of surveying, strong CAD/Carlson GIS skills, and GDOT experience; GA licensure is preferred. Travel may be required, and a proven ALTA/topographic survey record is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field; experience acceptable.
• GA Professional Land Surveyor license preferred; GDOT experience required.
• 10+ years leading surveying projects; SIT license is required.
• GDOT ORD/AutoCAD/Carlson proficiency; LiDAR/TopoDOT a plus.
• US driver’s license; willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Head with proposals, estimates, presentations, and recruiting.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients; manage project budgets and schedules.
• Lead surveys using CAD, Carlson, GIS; ensure ALTA, boundaries, topography.
• Oversee surveying accuracy, compliance with regulations, and safety.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
