Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Survey Project Manager in Atlanta, GA to lead and oversee land surveying projects from proposal through delivery. You will coordinate with office staff, clients, and project partners, manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensure compliance with GDOT and state regulations.

A PLS in Georgia with extensive field and office experience is preferred. Requirements include SIT license, AutoCAD and Carlson proficiency, and experience with LiDAR, GIS, GPS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in land surveying or civil engineering.
• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia or eligible to obtain within a year.
• GDOT experience required.
• 10+ years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• 8+ years of experience in land surveying.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Carlson.
• SIT license.
• 107 Remote Pilot Certification a plus.
• Knowledge of GDOT ORD and SUE processes desirable.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and the recruiting process.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocation.
• Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura procedures.
