Job summary

Bowman seeks a Senior Survey Project Manager to join our San Diego, CA team. Lead surveying projects, manage staff, budgets, and schedules while expanding client relationships and marketing Bowman’s capabilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating with departments, overseeing all surveying activities, and ensuring quality, on-time delivery. A BS in land surveying with licensure plus 10+ years’ experience, including 2+ years in PM, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field is preferred.
• Professional Land Surveying registration is preferred.
• 10+ years of land surveying experience including 2+ years in project management.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Carlson.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for surveying projects within budgets and schedules.
• Assist with marketing Bowman’s capabilities to establish new clients and relationships.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet project requirements.
• Develop plans for complex projects and monitor deliverable schedules.
• Oversee surveying activities, review changes, and manage staffing and budgets.
• Supervise survey personnel to meet professional standards.
• Define project scopes and prepare status reports and monthly billings.
• Maintain client liaison to resolve technical and billing questions.
