Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. is seeking a Survey Party Chief in Pleasantville, NJ to lead field crews on boundary, control, topography, and stakeout projects. This role requires hands-on supervision, data collection, and effective communication with project managers.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of land surveying experience, NJ familiarity, and the ability to travel within New Jersey. GPI offers strong benefits and opportunities for growth within a multi-discipline firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in land surveying.
• NJ experience in land surveying is a plus.
• Ability to travel throughout New Jersey.

Responsabilités

• Supervise field crew members to obtain measurements, sketches, and data collection for control, boundary, right of way, topography, and stakeout projects.
• Communicate the progress of projects to the survey supervisor and project managers.
• Guide technicians on the use of survey equipment and measurement techniques.
• Operate and train crew members on equipment, Robotic Total Stations, Data Collectors, Digital Levels, and Laser Scanning Equipment.
• Manage daily downloading of field data.
• Maintain crew safety and use of safety equipment.
