The role focuses on project oversight, budgeting, QA/QC, client relationships, proposals, and staff development, with preference for candidates holding a PLS/LS license and Virginia experience.

Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PLS/LS license.
• Experience leading survey projects and teams.
• Experience managing budgets, clients, and staff.
• Background in boundary, ALTA, topo, and construction surveying.
• Virginia/Hampton Roads experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead survey office operations, including field and technical teams.
• Oversee projects, budgets, schedules, staffing, and QA/QC.
• Manage boundary, ALTA, topo, construction, and land development projects.
• Maintain and grow client relationships.
• Support proposals, business development, and office growth.
• Hire, mentor, and develop survey staff.
