Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Dry Dock Survey Manager to oversee all project survey activities, establish and maintain survey control, and support construction execution from planning through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant survey and construction experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing surveying operations on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction surveying principles, methods, and best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, superintendents, architects, subcontractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor construction layout for temporary and permanent work elements.
• Manage all project survey activities to support construction operations and project requirements.
• Fully utilize survey equipment, software, and survey systems in performing and managing project surveying activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and construction operations teams to identify and establish survey requirements.
• Develop and maintain project control networks and survey benchmarks.
• Coordinate survey operations to support field activities and project schedules.
• Manage survey quality control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Procure, maintain, and manage survey equipment and related resources.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and design data for field layout.
• Identify potential survey and construction challenges proactively and develop practical solutions.
• Lead and mentor survey personnel and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Ensure survey work is performed in accordance with company standards, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain survey records, documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Promote and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
