Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Survey Division Manager in the Hampton Roads office to lead our surveying team. This full-time leadership role requires extensive field/land surveying experience and a Virginia LS credential, with the ability to oversee projects and budgets.

The ideal candidate will drive project delivery, QA/QC, client relations, and business development, while mentoring staff and coordinating field work as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years field/land surveying experience.
• 3+ years in land surveying project management.
• Active Virginia Land Surveyor credential (LS).

Responsibilities

• Provide management and admin support for surveying projects (boundary, ALTA, topographic, etc.).
• Review, approve, and seal technical documents.
• Perform QA/QC review of survey plans, legal descriptions, and layouts.
• Lead field site visits and supervise field staff.
• Manage project budgets and track financial performance.
• Communicate with clients and assist with proposals and new business development.
• Assist with AR billing as needed.
• Provide training to team members and support marketing efforts.
