Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Surgical Technologist IV to join our operating room team. The role supports the surgeon by maintaining a sterile field and preparing instruments and supplies for operative procedures.

You will work under the Surgery Team Leader, assist in patient preparation, and ensure aseptic technique throughout the case. Minimum 5 years OR experience and current Surgical Technologist certification are required.

Formación

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and perform surgical cases with appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Open sterile packs and supplies following sterile technique.
• Prepare sterile field and perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts.
• Assist in maintaining aseptic technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Assist the circulating nurse as needed and support the surgical team.
• Assist with instrument handling and post-case clean-up and decontamination.
