Job summary

Mission Hospital McDowell is seeking a Sr Surgical Technologist Cert PRN to join our perioperative team in Marion, NC. The role supports the surgeon and anesthesia team by scrubbing, preparing the surgical field, and caring for patients before, during, and after procedures.

Qualified candidates will have BLS within 30 days, CST certification within two years, and an associate degree or equivalent work experience. No travel required and opportunities to access comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree
• 3 years experience required

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assisting the surgeon in achieving desired surgical outcomes
• Aids perioperative team by scrubbing and caring for the patient before, during and after surgical intervention
