Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist course (not required if more than 10 years of experience).
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - NBSTSA upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 5 years experience as a surgical technologist with scrub proficiency across multiple service lines.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and handle instruments during procedures with aseptic technique.
• Ensure sterility and readiness of OR supplies/equipment before cases.
• Assist coordinators in stocking and receiving supplies for clusters of specialties.
• Support department budget goals and participate in room turnover and patient care activities.
