Qualifications

• 2 years surgical technician experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Course for surgical technicians preferred.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Physical ability including heavy lifting and keen perception.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery and maintain aseptic technique.
• Pull cases completely and provide all equipment for cases.
• Assist in keeping track of instruments, sutures and sponges.
• Support preoperative patients and maintain patient privacy.
• Identify and care for specimens and report equipment issues.
