Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of demonstrated surgical technologist experience in multiple specialties in an acute care facility.
• Successful completion of an accredited course in surgical technology.
• BLS Required
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, and understanding of medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care activities during procedures.
• Ensure environment safety and equipment functioning; maximize patient safety.
• Prepare and stock OR, gather sterile supplies; supervise aseptic technique.
