Aufgaben

• Assists surgeon during surgical procedures as first assistant (at least 50% of accountability).
• Obtains detailed medical histories and conducts physical examinations.
• Develops and implements patient management plans and coordinates referrals.
• Orders laboratory, diagnostic tests, and medications as appropriate.
• Performs routine diagnostic procedures and interprets results.
• May perform additional procedures based on privileges.
• Supports preoperative and postoperative care coordination.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Facilitates referrals to health and social services when needed.
• Ensures accurate billing for services and mentors new staff.
