Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.

• Strong ability to coordinate patient care and communicate with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgeon during surgical procedures, performing first assistant duties.
• Obtains detailed medical histories and conducts physical examinations.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
• Counsels patients on preventive care and postoperative instructions.
• Orders medications and coordinates referrals to other services.
