Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and major repair on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical, and automotive vehicles.
• Inspect and repair a variety of equipment including self-propelled artillery, tracked carriers, road graders, cranes, bulldozers, tanks, and related gear.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and embedded system analyzers.
• Disassemble and reassemble engines and major assemblies, test in vehicles and ensure proper operation.
• Provide technical guidance and lead junior mechanics in the team; may conduct field or sustainment maintenance as needed.
