Job summary

Arkansas National Guard is seeking a Surface Maintenance Mechanic (Title 32) to perform maintenance on heavy-duty armored and support vehicles. You will troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul engines, transmissions, and hydraulic/electrical systems, including diagnostics with engine analyzers and diagnostic tools.

May lead lower-grade mechanics and work in remote locations as needed. Position requires National Guard membership and compliance with military requirements, including testing, background

Qualifications

• WG-10/Specialized experience with combat and tactical vehicles.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Ensures readiness through inspections and preventive maintenance.
