Job summary

Ideal candidates will have a P&C license, 5–7 years of surety experience, and industry designations. The position offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for collaboration with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• P&C license required.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in a Surety environment.
• Insurance designations desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Decision making and problem solving capabilities.
• Ability to learn and utilize EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client needs, including bond requests and billing issues.
• Request periodic updates, analyze data, and communicate with underwriters.
• Respond to client questions about account bond programs and opportunities.
• Communicate with underwriters on bond approvals status.
• Issue original bonds as needed.
• Support carrier submissions and present final proposals to prospects.
• Gather information from prospective clients for high-level bond reviews and resolve billing issues.
• Demonstrate effective communication with clients, peers, and sureties.
• Attend client meetings as required.
