Job summary
Agincare Weymouth is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead care teams and deliver person-centred support for individuals with learning disabilities and autism in Weymouth. You will provide hands-on care, help with daily routines, and accompany clients on activities in the community.
The role requires senior experience, a driving licence, and strong IT/organisational skills. This is a rewarding, frontline leadership position in a supportive, expanding care group.
Qualifications
- Experience in a senior support or team leader role.
- Confident in supporting people with complex needs.
- Full UK driving licence and own car.
- Level 2 Health & Social Care (Level 3 desirable/working towards).
- Strong organisation and IT skills.
- Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support, including personal care and community activities.
- Support and guide team members across multiple locations.
- Review care plans, risk assessments, and records.
- Liaise with families and professionals.
- Step in to lead shifts and ensure high-quality, consistent support.
