Job Opportunity: Senior Support Worker at Airdferry Day Care Centre

Join the Skye & Lochalsh Integrated Community Team as a Senior Support Worker at Airdferry Day Care Centre. This role offers the chance to provide social engagement for service users and respite for carers in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support and lead staff in daily activities and service delivery.
2. Organise activities, manage procurement, and oversee staff situations.
3. Work closely with the Day Care Services Manager.
4. Coordinate transport services, utilizing the mini-bus and staff vehicles.
5. Undertake required training for service delivery.
6. Ensure compliance with the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme and hold a valid driver’s license.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with older adults in health and social care is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake training.
