Job summary

Socket.dev in Berthoud, CO, is seeking a Senior Supply Planner to own and execute the Master Production Schedule for an assigned propulsion segment. You will translate the agreed demand plan into a time-phased, capacity-feasible supply plan and release Manufacturing Orders to put hardware in motion.

You will collaborate across Materials Control, Procurement, and Manufacturing, lead process improvements, and coach junior planners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years in supply or production planning in manufacturing.
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of MRP logic, BOMs, lead times, and planning parameters.

Responsibilities

• Own adherence to the Master Production Schedule and translate demand plans into a time-phased supply plan.
• Release, sequence, and maintain Manufacturing Orders against program needs and capacity.
• Run MRP and address reschedules, expedites, and shortages before floor impact.
• Maintain planning parameters, including lead times, order policies, and safety stock.
• Develop replenishment strategies for inventory locations and manage obsolete material.
• Collaborate with Materials Control, Procurement, and Manufacturing to resolve shortages.
• Lead and mentor junior planners as needed.
