Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation, a leading packaging and graphics solutions provider, seeks a Supply Planner for North America to balance customer demand, production capacity, inventory, and materials in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role leads S&OP reviews, coordinates product transitions, and collaborates with Manufacturing, Commercial, Product Management, Technical Services, and Operations to optimize service levels while minimizing obsolescence and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of supply chain experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience leading S&OP reviews and preparing executive packets.
• Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge and ERP/CRM proficiency.
• Advanced Excel; PowerPoint proficiency; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supply packets with inventory levels and service plans for meetings.
• Lead regular Supply Review meetings to evaluate plans, inventory, and capacity.
• Translate forecasts into executable production and rough-cut capacity plans.
• Maintain inventory targets and manage slow-moving stock with cross-functional teams.
• Drive inventory optimization while preserving service levels.
• Assess capacity and material availability to meet forecasted demand.
• Coordinate product reallocations and transitions to minimize obsolescence.
• Support scenario planning and supply prioritization for profitability.
