Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking a Supply Planner for the North America region to balance demand, production capacity, inventory, and material availability, driving end-to-end supply planning that supports the S&OP process.

You will lead supply reviews, develop scenarios, and collaborate across Manufacturing, Commercial, Product Management, and Technical Services to ensure uninterrupted customer service while optimizing inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
• 7+ years of relevant supply chain experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and S&OP.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with ERP/CRM environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supply packets with inventory levels, plan-to-produce metrics, and service levels for supply meetings.
• Lead regular Supply Review meetings to evaluate production plans, inventory positions, and capacity.
• Collaborate with operations and regional teams to convert demand forecasts into executable production plans and capacity plans.
• Develop and maintain inventory targets to support customer service and working capital objectives.
• Drive inventory optimization while maintaining service levels.
• Assess capacity and material availability to ensure sufficient supply for forecasted demand.
