Job summary

MegaFood, a Certified B Corporation, seeks a Senior Supply Planner to develop and maintain supply plans for finished goods and raw materials, ensuring optimum product availability while balancing inventory, capacity, and cost objectives.

You will own PO management, collaborate with production, sales, finance, and demand planning, and analyze data in D365 and Power BI to drive risk mitigation and service improvements across retail, DTC, and e-commerce channels.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute short- and long-term supply and inventory planning processes across the network, aligning with demand and service objectives.
• Develop and maintain the supply plan supporting all retail, DTC, and e-commerce channels.
• Collaborate with Production Planners on production changes for material availability.
• Support New Product Development and product discontinuances.
• Drive supply planning readiness for new product launches and initiatives.
• Manage purchase orders, vendor forecasts, and replenishment schedules to mitigate OOS and high W.O.H.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, procurement, and demand planning to drive S&OP alignment.
• Monitor inventory performance and provide optimization insights.
• Analyze supply chain data in D365 and Power BI to identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide reports and KPIs to stakeholders for visibility and continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, Business, or related field

Advanced Degree or equivalent in supply chain, Business, or related field

4-6 years of related experience in FMCG/CPG/VMS supply chain planning

Knowledge of Distribution Planning, vendor-managed inventory planning, retail replenishment, DTC, and e-commerce fulfillment planning models

Proficiency in ERP/WMS and advanced Excel; Power BI experience a plus

Position Summary

The Senior Supply Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining the supply plans and strategies for MegaFood's Finished Goods & Raw Materials to ensure optimum product availability while balancing inventory, monitoring capacity, improving service, and managing cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute short- and long-term supply and inventory planning processes across the network, ensuring alignment with demand, financial targets, and service objectives.
• Develop and maintain the supply plan and strategy that supports all retail partners, DTC, and e-commerce channels, ensuring product availability across all sites and distribution points.
• Collaborate with Production Planners on production changes to ensure proper material availability and requirements are met.
• Participate in NPD/NPI calls by supporting new product introductions, product discontinuances, and other special projects.
• Drive supply planning readiness for New Product Development and Innovation initiatives, ensuring new item setup, supply requirements, and stage gate milestones are completed on time to support successful launches.
• Own and actively manage purchase orders, vendor forecasts, and replenishment schedules to mitigate and control OOS and high W.O.H.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, procurement, and demand planning teams to drive S&OP alignment and issue resolution.
• Monitor inventory performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize turns, reduce obsolescence, and maximize service level.
• Analyze supply chain data in D365 Business Central and Power BI to identify risks and opportunities while proactively developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage and provide reports, KPIs, and planning trends to stakeholders covering Critical Supply, Fill Rate, W.O.H, MOQ & SS review, and other business-critical reports to drive visibility, continuous improvement, and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in supply chain, Business, or related field - Required
• Advanced Degree or equivalent work experience in supply chain, Business, or related field - Preferred
• 4-6 years of related experience in FMCG/CPG/VMS supply chain planning, or related experience - Required
• Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Strong experience with Distribution Planning, vendor-managed inventory planning, retail replenishment, DTC, and e-commerce fulfillment planning models.
• Proficiency in supply chain systems (ERP, WMS portals, and any advance planning software).
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with analytics tools a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with organizational reach and analytical capabilities.

Physical or Work Requirements

Primarily performs work in an office or remote environment and requires extended periods of sitting, computer use, and verbal communication. Physical activity is generally limited to occasional standing, walking, repetitive keyboard and mouse use, and light lifting of office materials or equipment up to 10–15 pounds. Employees may occasionally travel or attend meetings in varying office or customer environments. Travel 5%.

The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $88,000.00 - $146,000.00, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
