Qualifications

• AA in Business or related field; HS diploma required.
• 2+ years' experience of directly managing and coaching employees.
• 10 years procurement experience as a sr buyer or purchasing supervisor.
• Excellent communication skills with suppliers and internal customers.
• Strong leadership skills and manager capability to execute plans and goals.
• Intermediate Excel and SAP software.

Responsibilities

• Understand market situation and purchasing environment to set effective purchasing strategy.
• Set department metrics and action plans aligned to Production Master Plan.
• Negotiate procurements to meet cost, quality, and delivery needs.
• Perform onsite audits/visits to suppliers.
• Evaluate vendor quotes and services.
• Establish both foreign and domestic suppliers and manage supplier contracts.
