L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Specialist, Supply Chain Management to lead the SC/MM function on defense programs, bringing deep knowledge of supply chain and project management and proven leadership to guide cross-functional IPT teams.

The role will own forecasting, subcontract support, and program planning to achieve cost, schedule and technical objectives while coordinating with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant supply chain experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related supply chain experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and lead integrated cross functional team(s) within assigned program(s) while interacting with supplier(s), supply chain director, program managers, functional managers, and customers to achieve subcontract cost, schedule and technical objectives.
• Support the Supply Chain portion of development and production proposals, including planning and execution of affordability, supplier quality and other supplier performance improvement initiative, being submitted to Government and Prime Contractor programs.
• Own the material forecasting process, including monthly forecast development, identification of material cost and schedule drivers, variance analysis, execution of mitigation strategies to improve forecast accuracy, while supporting overall program financial performance.
• Support negotiation of subcontracts and assist in the development of supplier baseline program plans including development of supplier budget and schedule baselines, consistent with program plans.
• Communicate within and outside of the Supply Chain organization. Prepare presentations and lead teams in presentations to peers, customers, suppliers and managers.
