Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis on national security and Supply Chain area of interest, with a focus on technology products and aerospace and defense
- Lead small teams on analytical focus areas.
- Leverage technical skills to analyze technical documentation to understand how technologies are integrated into an overall system.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings on emerging Suply Chain trends, threats, and opportunities in the national security landscape impacting Supply Chain Resilience.
- Utilize various data sources to gather and analyze Supply Chain information
- Ability to learn and employ advanced analytical techniques and tools to extract meaning from multiple, diverse large-scale data sets
- Develop and implement data-driven analytical processes and performance assessment methodologies
- Utilize structured analytic techniques to generate insights relative to Supply Chain Resilience and reprocess data with updated taxonomies based on new findings
- Prepare both graphical and narrative presentation materials for meetings, briefings, and reports.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reports and briefings.
- Provide conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders based on research findings.
- Present to leadership on analytical results.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required. Degree in relevant field such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. Masters preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years of industry experience in the aerospace/defense sector.
- Past experience in supply chain risk management research and analysis required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office automation tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to be flexible in research areas.
- Familiarity with supply chains, processes and technology analysis, including logistics information systems, data collection, and data visualization.
- Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities
- CSCP or related certification desired.
- This position may require a security clearance. Only US Citizens are eligible to obtain a security clearance.
Targeted Salary Range: $120,00-$150,000
