Syracuse University seeks a Senior Supply Chain Project Manager to provide a forward-looking, data-driven view of the supply base and to lead initiatives that improve it. Reporting to the AVP, CPO, you will manage commodity spend, market trends, and savings across the institution while guiding cross-functional projects to modernize procurement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, business, or related field.
• 10+ years in supply chain and operations management, including large-scale programs.
• Proven success leading cross-functional projects with measurable savings or efficiency results.
• Strong analytical skills with spend, market, and cost modeling experience.
• Advanced experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft) and analytics tools (Excel, BI, Smartsheets).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to brief senior leaders.
• Preferred: MBA and CPSM/CSCP/CPM/PMP.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor pricing, supply disruptions, and market trends for major spend categories; brief CPO and leadership on risks and opportunities.
• Develop commodity strategies and category plans with Strategic Sourcing; use spend data to set priorities.
• Lead cost savings and supplier programs across the University; consolidate spend and improve contracts.
• Lead cross-functional projects from scope through implementation, including a unified travel booking/expense platform.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers; communicate status to stakeholders.
