Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist in Rolling Meadows, IL, to manage material requirements, POs, and baselines while coordinating with cross-functional teams on EVMS and CAM practices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s plus 5 years or a Master’s plus 3 years in supply chain, contracts, or related fields, with ERP experience (SAP or similar) and US citizenship for potential government work. Salary ranges reflect current market norms in the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field or Master’s with 3+ years in same domains.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and cost forecasting.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and CAM concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-time release of requisitions and POs to support program schedules.
• Forecast material costs and monitor performance against baselines.
• Identify risks and opportunities in material requirements and supplier capacity.
• Monitor lead times and critical path procurements to ensure program success.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
