Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a Supply Chain Mgr III to analyze and optimize supply chain processes, scale standard methodologies, and align with cross-organizational teams. You will identify operational improvements and develop network-wide solutions while working with external suppliers and mitigating risks.

The position requires advanced degree or equivalent experience, with strong data analysis and excel skills; 40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Bachelor’s degree with five years progressive post-baccalaureate experience and two years of experience as equivalent to the Master’s degree.
• Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, or transportation fields.
• Experience leading crossfunctional supply-chain/logistics programs.
• Experience working on and leading the design, implementation, and optimization of supply chain initiatives.
• Experience with data mining and data analysis.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, and data links.
• Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Microsoft Access.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate supply chain analysis to identify and recommend improvement opportunities for new and existing processes.
• Scale processes to standard methodologies across businesses and align across organizations.
• Identify and drive operational improvements by proposing network-wide solutions that improve supply chain health.
• Work with external suppliers, navigate, resolve, and mitigate risks where possible.
• Influence, drive, and innovate to build and solve problems in supply chains.
