Veeco is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in San Jose to lead a team of buyers and planners, strengthening supplier performance and driving material readiness for complex capital equipment manufacturing.

You will own master scheduling, inventory control, and MRP discipline, partnering with Engineering, Operations, and Sourcing to align demand with supply and mitigate risk across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of progressive supply chain experience in capital equipment or complex manufacturing.
• Direct people-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level procurement, material planning, inventory control, and master scheduling to align supply with demand.
• Drive material availability via disciplined MRP execution and shortage management.
• Establish operating cadence across purchasing, planning, and material readiness for changing production priorities.
• Partner with R&D, Product Engineering, Operations, and Sourcing to align material strategies with changes.
