Job summary

Collins Aerospace, based in Chula Vista, is seeking an experienced procurement and supply chain professional to manage and optimize the A350 ElecTRAS supplier base. The role focuses on cost-saving initiatives, contract oversight, and procurement support to ensure operational excellence and resilience.

The position requires extensive experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and ERP systems like SAP, with a strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Experience in procurement processes, including purchase requisitions and purchase order management.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the supply base for the A350 ElecTRAS product line.
• Lead cost-saving projects for the A350 ElecTRAS and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Manage supplier negotiations and oversee contract management for the ElecTRAS BOM.
• Support procurement activities for the Engineered Items commodity and ensure compliance with policies
