Job summary

White Cap in the greater Atlanta area is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to improve inventory planning and execution toward best-in-class performance while minimizing cost. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives across Finance, Sourcing, and Logistics.

The role requires 7+ years of related experience, a BS/BA, and hands-on WMS testing with platforms such as Softeon, Blue Yonder, or RedPrairie.

Qualifications

BS/BA in a related discipline and 7+ years of experience in a related field.
Experience testing warehouse management systems (WMS) such as Softeon, Blue Yonder or RedPrairie.
Proficiency with Excel or Smartsheet for tracking testing activities and results.
Warehouse operations, inventory management or distribution center experience.

Responsibilities

Develops inventory and fulfillment best practices and customizes for internal customers.
Identifies and implements supply chain improvements across the organization.
Assesses quality of current external customer fulfillment experience and develops improvement strategies.
Identifies cost reductions in the supply chain function across lines of business.
Applies benchmarking and best practice studies to improve processes and performance.
Partners with Loss Prevention to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrink.
Liaises with Finance, Sourcing, EHS, Distribution & Logistics to drive initiatives.
