Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Business Administration degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• ASCM certifications are a plus.
• 5-10+ years of materials management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience building teams and strategies for high performance.
• Expertise in materials planning, master scheduling, inventory management, and logistics.
• 5+ yrs of MRP; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Six Sigma certification a plus but not required.
• Strong MS Office skills; excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain team through organizational reviews, mentoring and performance management.
• Oversee MRP closed-loop planning and ERP data integrity to meet schedules and optimize inventory.
• Develop and improve ERP processes for shipping, returns, supplier contracts, and order management.
• Create KPIs to monitor inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, supplier quality, and BOM accuracy.
• Maintain data mining attributes in ERP such as lead times, safety stock, MOQ, fixed lot sizes.
• Lead SIOP to forecast production and align with demand and on-time delivery.
• Analyze data across software platforms and Excel.
• Drive cost reduction via supplier deflation programs and value engineering.
• Manage supply chain across NPIs to end-of-life.
• Rationalize supplier base to meet global objectives.
• Collaborate with Corporate Global SCM to leverage procurement agreements and consignment.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage performance; initiate corrective actions.
• Work with Manufacturing to ensure executable production plans and issue resolution.
• Develop supplier partnerships to reduce lead times and complexity.
